NCTF 135 HA is an injectable solution containing non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid together with vitamins, minerals, amino acids and other nutrients. It is delivered into the superficial layers of the skin — a technique known as mesotherapy — usually as a short course rather than a single session. It is intended to hydrate the skin, and it does not fill or reshape features.
What it may help with
- Skin that appears dry or dull.
- Fine surface lines, as distinct from deeper folds.
- Overall skin texture and hydration on the face, neck, décolletage or hands.
It does not lift sagging tissue, does not restore lost volume and does not treat pigmentation or acne scarring. Those need different treatments, and in some cases a dermatologist rather than this clinic.
Assessment and suitability
Treatment begins with a consultation covering your medical history, allergies, medication, previous aesthetic treatment and what you are hoping for. It is not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding, where there is active infection or inflammation at the site, in people with a known allergy to any component, or where a bleeding disorder or anticoagulant medication makes injection unwise. Written consent is taken before treatment.
What usually happens
- The skin is cleansed and, where you wish, a topical anaesthetic cream is applied and left to work.
- The solution is delivered through a series of very fine, superficial injections across the treatment area.
- The area is cleaned and cooled.
- A session commonly takes around 30 minutes, depending on the area.
How many sessions to expect
An initial course of several sessions spaced a few weeks apart is typical, followed by occasional maintenance sessions. The number depends on your skin and your goal, and is agreed at the consultation. Any change appears gradually over weeks rather than immediately after a session, and how long it lasts varies with skin type, age, sun exposure, smoking and after-care.
Limitations, risks and alternatives
- Results vary between individuals and cannot be specified in advance.
- Small bumps at the injection points, redness, swelling, bruising and tenderness are common in the first day or two.
- Less commonly: infection, prolonged bruising, or an allergic reaction.
- The effect is temporary and requires repeat sessions to maintain.
- Alternatives include topical skincare and sun protection, other injectable or energy-based treatments, or no treatment at all. Sun protection is the single measure with the strongest evidence behind it and costs the least.
Does it hurt?
The injections are superficial and brief. Topical anaesthetic cream can be applied beforehand. Discomfort varies from person to person.
When can I go back to normal activities?
Most people return to ordinary activity the same day. Visible pinpoint marks and redness usually settle within one to two days, and bruising can take longer.
Is this the same as a dermal filler?
No. Fillers use cross-linked hyaluronic acid placed more deeply to add volume or contour. This is non-cross-linked and superficial, and is not intended to change shape.
After your treatment
Leave the area alone for the rest of the day: no make-up, no rubbing. Avoid saunas, steam rooms, strenuous exercise and direct sun for around 24 to 48 hours, and use sun protection afterwards. Contact the clinic if you develop increasing pain, spreading redness, or any sign of infection.
